Convenience Community Commitment


Convenient access to everyday retail and services has never been more important. It’s a philosophy Linear Retail Properties has championed from our founding in 2003. Our commitment is to offer our urban and suburban communities the quality convenience retail and services they need and the support our tenants require to succeed over the long term. The result is that we’ve grown our portfolio to 87 properties throughout eastern Massachusetts, southern New Hampshire and Rhode Island.


Our Story

Our properties are located in communities where our shoppers are and want to be, in the heart of the city and suburbs. They are at major intersections and busy downtowns, giving our shoppers access to stores and services that are convenient to their homes and offices. Our diverse portfolio includes urban storefronts on Boston’s Newbury Street and Downtown Crossing, and blocks of storefront retail in downtown Wellesley and downtown Concord; community centers in Burlington and North Andover, Massachusetts; Nashua, New Hampshire; and Warwick, Rhode Island and individual properties throughout Eastern Massachusetts.

We offer our communities the retail and services they need and want in premier locations. We fill our centers with regional and national stores, and find and nurture local entrepreneurs to provide our guests with shops and services that serve their needs and let them fulfill those little extra items they want.

To us, community is key. As a regional owner, we work where we live. Our local market knowledge and hands-on approach allows us to forge and maintain lasting relationships with all of our stakeholders, including tenants, municipalities and our investors.

After all, we’re neighbors. We believe that signing a lease isn’t the culmination of a relationship — it’s just the beginning. We strive to listen to and understand the concerns of our retail partners; in fact, many members of our team have worked in retail. We share our expertise in marketing, permitting and operations, to help our retail partners succeed. Our dedicated, collaborative team approach fosters unique partnerships built on kindness, transparency and trust to ensure our tenants’ success now and growth over the long term.

Cookie Monstah, Burlington Marketplace

Baker, Melissa Gale and her husband, Scott have brought their fresh baked-from-scratch cookies and ice-cream sandwiches from food truck to brick & mortar. Their famous Cookie Monstah has been noted on the Travel Channel and NBC Boston, and they now have 6 trucks and two stores, selling about a 1/2 million cookies a year!
