(Burlington, MA; 10/24/2012)– After an extensive project dedicated to the revamp of Central Plaza in Wellesley, Linear Retail Properties, LLC is proud to announce completion of the renovation of the shopping center.
Earlier this month, Linear Retail hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to mark the Grand Re-opening of Central Plaza in Wellesley celebrating the renovation of the new façade and back parking lot along with new tenants that opened in 2012. New tenants include: MiniLuxe, Gustare Oils & Vinegars, Wellesley Theatre Project and Boloco.
Attendees at the ceremony included, President of the Wellesley Chamber of Commerce, Maura O’Brien, Chair of Board of Selectmen, Terri Tsagaris, Board of Selectmen: Katherine L. Babson and Don McCauley, Fire Chief, Richard DeLorie, Deputy Chief, Jeff Peterson, celebrity chef, Michael Schlow, Central Plaza tenants and friends. The ceremony was conducted in the back parking lot of the Plaza to spotlight the renovations. Speeches were given by Bryan Furze, VP of Leasing and Asset Management with Linear Retail, Joel Kadis, Partner of Leasing with Linear Retail, Maura O’Brien and Terri Tsagaris. Food was provided by Alta Strada restaurant, a tenant at Central Plaza.
Kadis commented, “We at Linear had a vision, and that vision looked very much like today, and when I look at the Plaza, I just say ‘wow’ I’m so excited for the town of Wellesley, I’m excited for our tenants, and I’m excited for Linear.”
O’Brien followed by congratulating Linear Retail on its vision, “It is a tremendous improvement, and I want to thank you for your support of the Chamber of Commerce here in Wellesley and especially thank you for your support of the whole Wellesley Square Initiative.”
