Elements Massage in Nashua Now Open

Elements Massage Nashua now open(Burlington, MA; 05/13/2013) – Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced the opening of Elements Massage at their Amherst Street Village Shopping Center at 550 Amherst Street in Nashua, New Hampshire. Hank Blake, Principal at Blake Commercial brokered the deal, representing the tenant.

Elements Therapeutic Massage is a therapeutic massage studio with licensed massage therapists, flexible scheduling and affordable prices. Services include various massages: deep-tissue, hot stone, Swedish, sports, pre-natal and trigger-point work.

Amherst Street Village is a 48,300 sf shopping center anchored by Walgreens and PetSmart on Route 101A at the entrance to Target and Panera Bread. There is currently one 1,600 sf space available for lease.

Linear Retail Closes on Two Mortgage Loans Totaling $11 Million

Chelmsford Plaza 2012_02_24 (2) edited_2(Burlington, MA; 03/26/2013) – Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today that it secured a mortgage loan for $5,200,000 for Salem Park Plaza at 125 South Broadway in Salem, NH and a $5,880,000 refinance for Chelmsford Plaza at 103 Drum Hill Road in Chelmsford, MA from the Lowell, MA based, Enterprise Bank.

Linear Retail purchased Salem Park Plaza in January, 2013. The 37,933 sf plaza is fully leased; key tenants include Barnes & Noble, Pier 1 Imports and Jos. A. Bank. Chelmsford Plaza is a 24,262 sf fully leased shopping center that recently underwent an extensive renovation. Key tenants at Chelmsford Plaza include Starbucks, Sherwin Williams and Sprint. The new purchase and renovation fashioned an opportune time to refinance.

Linear Retail Hires SVP of Asset Management

SVP Asset Management Linear Retail Burlington(Burlington, MA; 02/05/2013)– Linear Retail Properties announced today their recent hiring of Jeffrey Boehning as Senior Vice President of Asset Management. Jeff will be responsible for overseeing all of Linear Retail’s asset management and construction activities.

Bill Beckeman, President and CEO of Linear Retail stated, “Jeff brings many talents to our team that will allow us to continue our steady portfolio growth in the coming months and years.”

Prior to joining Linear Retail, Jeff served as Senior Vice President for LaSalle Investment Management in Chicago with responsibilities including asset management, leasing, development and dispositions with a particular focus on retail and industrial assets. Before LaSalle, Jeff held various roles at Inland Retail Real Estate Trust in Chicago including Vice President of Asset Management.

Jeff holds an M.B.A. in Real Estate Finance from DePaul University and a B.S. in Business Administration from Elon University.

Linear Retail Acquires 3rd New Hampshire Property in a Month

Salem NH Retail Space for Lease(Burlington, MA; 01/17/2013)– Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today its purchase of Salem Park Plaza at 125 S. Broadway in Salem, New Hampshire, at the intersection of Rockingham Park Blvd. (Rt. 93, Exit 1). The acquisition marks Linear Retail’s third purchase in New Hampshire in the last month having purchased two retail properties in Nashua in separate transactions in December. The Salem purchase brings the company’s portfolio to 67 retail properties throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.

Linear Retail Acquires Two Nashua Properties

Chili's Nashua 285 Daniel Webster Highway(Burlington, MA; 01/02/2013)– Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today two purchases in Nashua, New Hampshire at 219 and 285 Daniel Webster Highway, completed in separate transactions.

On December 18th, Linear Retail purchased 219 Daniel Webster Highway, a 43,947 square foot development site which was owned by Cumberland Farms, Inc. The purchase price was $1,450,000. Linear Retail plans to redevelop the site into a single-story shopping center of approximately 12,000 square feet (divisible to 1,500 square feet). Joel Kadis, Partner of Leasing at Linear Retail will handle the leasing of the site.

Linear Retail Launches Merchant Services Video Series On Credit Card Processing

Pic of Evan and Jon for Merchant Services video(Burlington, MA; 12/27/2012)– Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today it has launched another segment in their Retailer Education Series to help educate retailers and other service-oriented small business on Merchant Services and credit card processing.

The last segment focused on the SBA and small business financing. In these Merchant Services videos Linear Retail’s focus in on credit card processing. Once again, these videos include Linear Retail’s Leasing Representative, Evan Eisenhardt. Evan interviews Merchant Sales Associate, Erin Valcourt from Washington Trust, and Merchant Consulting Group’s CEO, Jonathan Arst. In the series, Evan covers everything from getting started, to changing your current processor, to fraud protection and finding the right credit card processor for your business type. Erin and Jonathan offer concise answers educating retailers on where to start and what to expect with upcoming changes in credit card technology as well.

Five Guys In Downtown Crossing Now Open

Five Guys Downtown Boston(Burlington, MA; 11/16/2012)– Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today that Five Guys Burgers and Fries is now open in Downtown Crossing at their 58 Summer Street location.

Five Guys’ Downtown Crossing location is a 3,422 square foot space with seating for 75 people. The restaurant serves burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and french fries. Customers will also be able to order online, through their smart phone or via text messaging.

Adam Conviser of Conviser Property Group represented Five Guys and Tom Sibley of Atlantic Retail Properties represented Linear Retail. Joel Kadis, Partner of Leasing with Linear Retail stated, “We are happy to see the transformation of this once boarded-up storefront into Five Guys’ first restaurant in Downtown Boston. Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt to Open in Dracut

Orange Leaf coming to Dracut MA(Burlington, MA; 11/05/2012)– Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today a lease signing with Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt at Lakeview Shopping Center located at 1734 Lakeview Ave. & Tennis Plaza Road in Dracut, Massachusetts.

Orange Leaf is a rapidly expanding, self-serve frozen yogurt concept with locations across the country and eight so far in Massachusetts. The yogurt company offers 69 various flavors ranging from traditional flavors like chocolate, orange and lemon to new-time favorites like Oreo cookie cake, snickerdoodle and red velvet. All of Orange Leaf’s frozen yogurt flavors are made with fat free milk and some are gluten-free or sugar-free. Available toppings include fruits, nuts, candy and cereal. The new location, opening spring 2013, will feature a vibrant orange and green decor with various modern seating options.

Central Plaza Wellesley Ribbon Cutting (Burlington, MA; 10/24/2012)– After an extensive project dedicated to the revamp of Central Plaza in Wellesley, Linear Retail Properties, LLC is proud to announce completion of the renovation of the shopping center.

Earlier this month, Linear Retail hosted a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to mark the Grand Re-opening of Central Plaza in Wellesley celebrating the renovation of the new façade and back parking lot along with new tenants that opened in 2012. New tenants include: MiniLuxe, Gustare Oils & Vinegars, Wellesley Theatre Project and Boloco.
