Whitea Annie Signs Lease with Linear Retail at 222 Clarendon Street, Boston

(Burlington, MA; 02/08/2018)- Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today that clothing boutique, Whitea Annie has opened a 698 SF store at its 222 Clarendon Street location, taking the place of former Sordillo’s Tailoring.

Whitea Annie is the latest boutique to open right off popular Newbury Street on Clarendon Street in Boston, just in time for Valentine’s Day! Millennial, Annie Li founded the brand but don’t let her age distract you as this “Little Miss Chic” businesswoman has a fresh outlook on fashion in the city.

Annie’s clothing line is inspired by Chinese style – classical, fresh and elegant yet caters to all women who want to stand out from the crowd in high-end, cozy apparel. Whitea Annie is the only one of its kind and offers a variety of articles including pants, skirts, blouses, sweaters, coats, hats and other accessories. Her line is accented with many neutral colors like tans and blush tones but also has pops of color through-out the collection.

“Our store has many advantages over an online shop. Here, I can interact with the customers and be sure to help them find what they need for any occasion. They can touch and feel the silkiness in products and pair them in person with accessories. We’re known for having ultra-soft and cozy materials which our customers adore and items aren’t mass produced so everything is unique. There is an untapped need in Boston for genuine, fashionable yet modern Chinese clothing. I hope to bring great style to the city with my unique designs” said Annie.

Evan Eisenhardt, VP of Leasing of Linear Retail commented, “Whitea Annie is a perfect pairing to Linear’s business model of having a portfolio in which 50% is independent retailers. We like taking chances on new and fresh ideas and people who are passionate about what they do and inspire others. Annie has completely transformed the space into a beautiful boutique with high-end but affordable product.”
