(Burlington, MA; 4/22/2016)- Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today that its VP of Leasing, Evan Eisenhardt has leased 1,587 SF to Upper Crust Pizzeria at Burlington Marketplace located at 68-82 Mall Rd. in Burlington, MA. The shopping center is situated across from the Burlington Mall, Lahey Clinic and The District, a new 1.3 Million sf mixed-use development.
Upper Crust Pizzeria offers delicious pizzas and salads made with fresh ingredients in an up-scale setting. A unique item offered includes its “slice of the day” or “slice of the month” specialty pizzas. Catering and take-out is also available.
(Burlington, MA; 2/11/2016) – Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today that it acquired the two-story Friend Block located at 49-57 Main Street in Concord, MA for $4.7 million. The property was sold by the Friend Block Realty Trust.
The Friend Block is located at the center of Concord’s shopping district at the intersection of Main St (Rte. 62) and Walden St. Originally constructed in 1892, the 11,740 SF site is on the National Registry of Historic Places. The site is named after John Friend, who opened a pharmacy in the late 1800’s.
Mostly vacant, Linear expects to fill the building with shops complementary with Concord’s town center. Linear plans on modernizing the building’s interior while respecting the exterior’s historic design. (Burlington, MA; 02/01/2016)– Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today its 7th purchase in Nashua, New Hampshire at 235 Daniel Webster Highway. The property is tenanted by Barnes & Noble and is located at the corner of Daniel Webster Highway & Spit Brook Road.
The Barnes & Noble property is a 29,554 square foot, single-story, free standing building. The purchase price was $12 million. The property is Linear Retail’s sixth acquisition on Daniel Webster Highway, Nashua’s premier shopping district. Linear also owns a shopping center on Rte. 101A/Amherst St. in north Nashua adjacent to Target.
Blackstone Place, originally built in 1963, is comprised of two buildings totaling 37,470 sf. The center is fully leased and is anchored by Rite Aid. Other tenants include Hillside Family Medical, Rasoi, Antonio’s Pizza, Core Energy Fitness, Moon Star, Wild Flour, Garden Grille and Dunkin’ Donuts. The site has frontage on three streets including East Avenue, Lafayette Street and Pidge Avenue and is located 2.5 miles north of downtown Providence.
(Burlington, MA; 01/14/2016) – Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today that it has acquired 1869-1881 Centre Street in West Roxbury, MA. The purchase price was $2.1 million.
The property is a 7,335 square foot, single-story building originally built in 1920. It is located within the main commercial corridor of West Roxbury. The center is anchored by Atlas True Value Hardware and Rox Diner. Other tenants include Iron Body Studios and Saigon Nails. There is one 700 square foot space available for lease. (Burlington, MA; 11/30/2015)- Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today that it has signed a lease with NAMCO at its Daniel Webster Crossing shopping center located at 8 Spit Brook Road in Nashua, New Hampshire.
NAMCO leased 11,302 SF and will offer pool services, pool chemicals and accessories, patio furniture and game room gear. The new store will be taking the north end cap of Daniel Webster Crossing, next to Panera Bread. Daniel Webster Crossing recently underwent a full façade renovation including LED lighting, new tenant signage and upgraded landscaping as well as a new pylon sign.
(Burlington, MA; 10/26/2015)- Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today that it has acquired 9 West Plaza, located at 1 Oak Street in Westborough, MA.
The Plaza is located at the prominent signalized intersection of Route 9 and Lyman Street within Westborough’s primary retail corridor. The 35,800 square foot building is sited on 5.8 acres. Tenants include Sleepy’s, Chipotle, FedEx, Hair Cuttery and Gold’s Gym.
(Burlington, MA; 10/05/2015)- Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today that it has acquired 745 South Street in Roslindale, MA, a 4,600 SF single-story retail property.
The property is located in downtown Roslindale Village and is leased to Unleashed, Petco’s urban store concept. Unleashed has similar product offerings to Petco, but is a smaller model created for urban markets. The store opened on September 17, 2015.
