(Burlington, MA; 01/14/2016) – Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today that it has acquired 1869-1881 Centre Street in West Roxbury, MA. The purchase price was $2.1 million.
The property is a 7,335 square foot, single-story building originally built in 1920. It is located within the main commercial corridor of West Roxbury. The center is anchored by Atlas True Value Hardware and Rox Diner. Other tenants include Iron Body Studios and Saigon Nails. There is one 700 square foot space available for lease. (Burlington, MA; 11/30/2015)- Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today that it has signed a lease with NAMCO at its Daniel Webster Crossing shopping center located at 8 Spit Brook Road in Nashua, New Hampshire.
NAMCO leased 11,302 SF and will offer pool services, pool chemicals and accessories, patio furniture and game room gear. The new store will be taking the north end cap of Daniel Webster Crossing, next to Panera Bread. Daniel Webster Crossing recently underwent a full façade renovation including LED lighting, new tenant signage and upgraded landscaping as well as a new pylon sign.
(Burlington, MA; 10/26/2015)- Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today that it has acquired 9 West Plaza, located at 1 Oak Street in Westborough, MA.
The Plaza is located at the prominent signalized intersection of Route 9 and Lyman Street within Westborough’s primary retail corridor. The 35,800 square foot building is sited on 5.8 acres. Tenants include Sleepy’s, Chipotle, FedEx, Hair Cuttery and Gold’s Gym.
(Burlington, MA; 10/05/2015)- Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today that it has acquired 745 South Street in Roslindale, MA, a 4,600 SF single-story retail property.
The property is located in downtown Roslindale Village and is leased to Unleashed, Petco’s urban store concept. Unleashed has similar product offerings to Petco, but is a smaller model created for urban markets. The store opened on September 17, 2015.
(Burlington, MA; 06/24/2015)- Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today that it has acquired the Giroux Building, an 18,228 square foot multi-tenant, store-front retail property located at 1833-1853 Massachusetts Avenue in downtown Lexington, MA.
The Giroux Building offers frontage on four streets including Massachusetts Avenue, Meriam Street, Depot Square and Depot Place and overlooks the historic Buckman Tavern and Battle Green in Lexington Center. The fully leased store block is comprised of nine local and regional tenants including Via Lago Restaurant, Yangtze River Restaurant, Eastern Bank and Dellaria Salon. The purchase price of the property was $10,465,000. The Seller, The Giroux Building Limited Partnership, was represented by Connie Neville of Sperry Van Ness/Neville & Associates.
(Burlington, MA; 06/11/2015)- Linear Retail Properties, LLC, announced today that it has acquired a 124,093 square foot Massachusetts retail portfolio consisting of Eaglewood Shops at 175 Turnpike Street in North Andover, Main Street Marketplace at 1030 Main Street in Waltham, MA and the adjacent 1036 Main Street in Waltham, MA.
Eaglewood Shops is a 77,558 SF shopping center comprised of three buildings. The center was developed in 2005 and is situated along Route 114, the primary retail corridor of North Andover. The center is fully leased. Key tenants include; Burtons Grill, Staples, Pier 1 Imports, Jos. A. Bank and Chipotle. The purchase price was $34,250,000.
Main Street Marketplace is a 44,461 SF shopping center built in 2013, located on Route 20 (Weston Street) and Route 117 (Main Street) in Waltham. The center is fully leased. Key tenants include; Panera Bread, Chipotle, Five Guys, Party City, Pet Supplies Plus, and Aspen Dental. The purchase price was $22,400,000. An adjacent 2,074 SF single-tenant building at 1036 Main Street was also purchased. The purchase price was $850,000.
Florijn Home is a new boutique home décor store in Wellesley, MA and is the only one of its kind. The store, pronounced “Flor-ine” gets its name from the Dutch spelling of the word “Florin,” the gold standard in Europe since the time of the Medici bank (Florin, for Florence). The store carries products of the Northern European aesthetic with pieces from around the world including everything from votives, lanterns and dishware through furniture and artwork. Florijn Home is owned by the Barreveld Family.
(Burlington 11/6/2014)– Linear Retail announced today the most recent addition to the Asset Management team, Lauren Rogers. Lauren manages a portfolio of Linear’s suburban and urban condominium retail properties. She is responsible for creating and implementing the strategic vision for each asset by utilizing Linear’s in-house leasing, marketing, development and construction teams.
Prior to joining Linear, Lauren spent nearly a decade working in the retail industry in New York City. She started her retail career at Le Pain Quotidien working in franchising and operational services and later served as Director of Real Estate. There, Lauren led the restaurant’s expansion to locations in NYC, Washington D.C., Philadelphia and Los Angeles. Following her time at Le Pain Quotidien, Lauren was the Senior Real Estate Manager for Blink Fitness and was responsible for suburban site selection and lease negotiation.
As Portfolio Controller he supervises the property accounting and financial reporting processes. He also provides oversight of Linear’s internal control and audit functions.
Eric has been a real estate accountant for over 10 years. He is experienced in many facets of property and corporate accounting. He is also proficient in accounting for business operations and construction projects. Prior to joining Linear Retail, Eric spent 8 years working for REIT Management & Research, LLC (RMR) in Newton, MA. RMR provides real estate services and business management to several publicly traded REITs and real estate operating companies.
Eric is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Massachusetts. He has a Master of Science in Accounting from The University of Massachusetts Boston and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
